British Columbia Marine Trades Association

About Us

The BC Marine Trades Association has been the voice of recreational boating in BC since 1957, working with all levels of government and other stakeholders to grow and enhance the boating experience.

  • Promotion of recreational boating
  • Delivery of member services and benefits
  • Advocacy on industry issues
  • Support for environmental stewardship

We are a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors from a variety of sectors in the marine industry. We're the driving force behind the province's premier boating event, the Vancouver International Boat Show. Our nearly 250 members represent all aspects of the marine industry, from small owner/operator businesses to large multinational corporations.
